Not all of strategies developed since 2020 can be disclosed, since it still bears confidential character, however they all have a touch of sustainability and are ESG-proof, covering very broaden range of industries: waste management; cyclical economy; energy, including renewable sources; heating; infrastructure; financial services; digitalization and others.

In a role of CEO of SIA UniCredit Leasing has created and executed strategy for taking over leadership in Baltic leasing market, resulting in market share improvement in Latvia from 14% to 25% and with boosting profitability from net profit of 5,5 Mio EUR up to 13,5 Mio EUR accordingly (comparison of publicly available results of 2017 and 2019)

In a role of CEO of SIA UniCredit Leasing turned company after crisis with more than 4 mio EUR loss into profit of 2 Mio EUR during just few years, establishing solid framework for sustainable profit growth, which resulted in 13,5 Mio EUR in 2019

First real POT (Peopleless-Onboarding-Tool) process in Baltic leasing market. 

With a help of implemented Agile development framework ensured fast and adaptive environment for fast time-to-market solutions, which step by step enabled large Digital Strategy fulfillment with unique capability – instant binding credit decision making for 3rd party customers. The major steps include:

a) microservices architecture with API layer;  

b) integrating external databases for data gathering (e.g. Social Security Agency, Enterprise register, Central bank, etc);

c) creating and calibrating automated credit decision scoring module;

d) customer online self-onboarding interface with UX assessment;

e) partner integration into the process through API layer;

f) integrating eID and edocs into the process;

Initiating and establishing cooperation with supranational organizations, in SME financing and risk sharing instruments: European Investment Bank (EIB), also with EIF, NIB, CEB, EBRD. In few examples serving as a pilot project for Baltic market. Securitization framework establishment.

Established Insurance Brokerage subsidiary (UniCredit Insurance broker) and developed unique (differentiation) insurance products, including API based integration with insurance partners

Established leasing business entities from scratch in Estonia (2009) and Lithuania (2011). Brake-even reached within 2 and 1,5 years accordingly

Has established and executed strategy of handling dispute between Latvian Lessor Association and Competition Council (Antitrust authority)

2013-2014 Successful merger of former UniCredit Bank Baltics into SIA UniCredit Leasing Baltics, including delicensing and deleveraging

2010-2011 Support of merger of 2 leasing companies in Moscow: UniCredit Leasing Russia and Locat Leasing Russia

2019-2020 Successful sale of SIA UniCredit Leasing to AS Citadele Bank
